The Research Lab Assistant will conduct biomedical research studying the retina. Manage mouse colony. Responsible for ordering lab equipment, supplies, reagents. Conduct experiments using biochemical and cell biological techniques such as Western blotting, genotyping, cell culture expression, PCR, confocal microscopy and others. Prepare samples for mass spectrometry and electron microscopy. Appropriately backup and store lab data. Orient new lab members. Keep the lab clean and organized. |
