| In this position, the social worker is assigned to provide coverage to the 18-bed Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit. The unit serves youth ages 5-17 who require short-term, acute inpatient treatment. The social worker provides comprehensive psycho-social assessment, intervention, management, support, and assess for discharge planning and aftercare needs of the at-risk patient population and their families. In addition, the social worker addresses social determinants of health and works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. Other assigned duties and tasks based upon operational needs. |
