Transfer Center Nurse Specialist

| The Transfer Center Nurse will function out of the Throughput Operations Center providing critical and timely prioritization and successfully guiding referring facilities to the appropriate physician. In an effort to provide complete satisfaction, the nurse should accurately listen and respond appropriately to requests made by transferring physicians, hospitals and peers. The Transfer Nurse Specialist should give high priority to customer service. The nurse will manage multiple responsibilities including transfer center logistics for patients being transferred into the health system. This role will maintain compliance with EMTALA regulations. |
