| The candidate selected for this Recreation Therapist position will provide recreation programs to patients on the Nursing - Psychiatry Unit. Working within a multi-disciplinary treatment team, responsibilities include: maintaining structured, daily programs and group therapies; monitor and report patient participation and progress; organize monthly activity plans, and participate in treatment planning meetings. Provide education and training to Mental Health Workers for activity plans, and participate in treatment planning meetings. | This position will provide behavioral health services for employees and adult patients followed in the clinics at Nappi Wellness Institute. They will be part of the Integrated Behavioral Healthcare (IBHC) Clinic delivering services within the primary care clinics at Nappi and in the standalone IBHC site. This position works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psycho-social management and support to patients and families. This position is responsible for all aspects of therapy and psychological assessment. Develops with the patient/family an individualized plan of care and modifies the plan as status changes. Coordinates care with PCP and various outside agencies and obtains referrals into additional programs to support the patient's recovery. |
