| The Deputy Director of Inpatient Nursing functions as a member of the executive nursing leadership team with responsibility for assessing, managing, and facilitating operations of clinical, service, quality, financial management/development, personnel management initiatives, services, and outcomes for the efficient and effective operations of the nursing department. Areas of responsibility include adult inpatient nursing units at University Hospital. Assists the Chief Nursing Officer in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of departmental goals and objectives. Assist Chief Nursing Officer and nursing department with ongoing objectives to support Magnet designation. |

| The Manager of Laundry and Linen Services will provide daily oversight and management for the Linen Services operation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, budget management, planning for linen usage and on-going monitoring of expenditures, generation of needed reports, development and maintenance of the contracts with vendors, act as direct contact for Linen vendor, development and maintenance of policies and procedures, and maintenance of Quality Assurance to include quality monitoring of unit specific linen. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance reviews and personnel issues. Will provide weekend management coverage, as needed. |

| The Director of Innovation, Systems Integration and Improvement is a key member of the Ambulatory Services leadership team. Functions as the Ambulatory lead role for a variety of multi-disciplinary projects that drive innovation, operations transformation, quality initiatives, and capital projects. Will be responsible to implement models of systemness that expand and standardize ongoing eHealth initiatives across Ambulatory Services in support of the Upstate strategic plan and planned clinical growth. Areas of focus include primary intermediary with IMT teams to implement initiatives across ambulatory clinical
services that enhance the patient experience such as system patient access, direct patient scheduling, referral management and digital front door platform. |
