The School of Nursing in the College of Natural Sciences at California State University, Chico is seeking an Assistant Professor beginning August 2026. We are seeking faculty specialized in Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatrics, or Mental Health.
Assistant Professor of Exercise Physiology Chico
The Kinesiology Department in the College of Communication and Education at California State University, Chico is seeking an assistant tenure-track professor beginning Fall 2026. The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a terminal degree in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, or a closely related area. Candidates must have the ability to successfully teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology. They must demonstrate a line of professional and scholarly inquiry as evidenced by submission of peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations commensurate with academic experience.

2025-26 Coach Pool (all intercollegiate sports) Intercollegiate Athletics Chico
Chico State Athletics is collecting application materials for a pool of Coaches with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments are non-tenured and renewable annually dependent upon satisfactory performance, budget considerations, enrollment, and programmatic need. Appointments will be made as one of two classifications (Coaching Specialist or Coaching Assistant) depending upon contract length and rate of pay. An Coach appointment may be an FLSA exempt position depending on job duties. Coach appointments may qualify for full benefits and may have a less than full-time time-base. However, the number of hours worked per week throughout the period of employment will vary depending on needs of the department, and exempt employees do not receive overtime pay. Appointment is non-tenured and renewable annually dependent upon satisfactory performance, budget considerations, enrollment, and programmatic need.
