Position Summary:

The Construction Management Department in the College of ECC is collecting application materials for a pool of part-time lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2022-23 academic year. There is a particular need for the CMGT 105 – Computer Applications course. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a BS Degree in Construction Management or closely related. 

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master’s Degree in Construction Management or closely related field. Bilingual candidates will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.

The Department:

The Construction Management Department is one of six departments in CSU, Chico’s College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management. It offers an ACCE-accredited, 4-year bachelor of science in construction management degree program and a minor in heavy construction. The Department maintains close ties with industry and takes pride in its career-oriented programs focused on practical application. The Department currently has 8 full-time faculty, 5 part-time faculty and over 400 undergraduate majors.
