Job/Department Summary:

Under general direction, the Registration and Customer Service Representative position provides customer service and registration assistance for all Professional & Continuing Education (PCE) programs. This position performs a wide range of moderately complex PeopleSoft registration tasks; processes fee payments; provides engaging customer service to students, faculty, and other PCE stakeholders; and provides administrative support for PCE management. Day-to-day work is performed relatively independently with general direction except for new assignments.

Preferences:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills: 

  • Bilingual.
  • Experience in an academic setting.
  • Experience with CMS People Soft Registration, Enrollment and Course Management modules; cashiering processes using CashNet and Paytrace;  AdAstra, Moodle, Drupal, and Argos.

 

Required Education and Experience:

This position requires experience to be proficient in performing most or all work assignments and should include administrative support, coordinating and prioritizing many different clerical tasks, applying and communicating policies and procedures. These qualifications, and those listed above, would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program or its equivalent and two years recent experience in an office environment.

Time Base: Full-time

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00-5:30. 

Salary and Benefits Information:

$3,338 - $4,913 per month / $40,056 - $58,956 annually (Initial placement within the salary range for new employees is contingent upon education and experience).

This position qualifies for benefits including tuition fee waiver (if eligible).
