They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and communicating the sustainability goals of the university, and supports the entire campus in all areas concerning AASHE STARS, Climate Action and Resilience Plan and improving sustainability education, research and outreach. The Program Administrator initiates, executes, implements, and evaluates day-to-day operations of the Office of Sustainability, as well as provides administrative support to the Director, Campus Sustainability Committee and subcommittees, and oversees student employees and interns working on various projects.
Project Manager (Administrator I) - INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY Chico
***INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY*** Under the general direction of the Director of Design and Construction, the Project Manager manages design and construction of complex capital construction projects for CSU, Chico buildings and facilities. Construction projects have a high degree of diversity, use innovative or advanced building design and construction, require alternative, often complex contracting methods, and have other complicated construction features. Employee consults with Department and University executives to plan and define facility needs, coordinate the budget, and oversee the contract process from design through construction. Employee manages projects that incorporate complex design features, unusual building materials, and advanced building techniques. Projects present diversified and novel problems in which often, established criteria and technical precedents frequently do not apply. Typically, the employee cannot rely on precedent or standard data in making judgments and decisions. The Project Manager carries out their work with considerable freedom, frequently selecting the approach to resolve complex problems. The supervisor reviews work for adequacy in terms of meeting the broad technical objectives and for compliance with agency policies and regulations. The Project Manager is expected to independently render technical decisions or effectively recommend decisions to controversial issues that impact policy, public relations or budgetary considerations.

Incumbent will serve as departments liaison for Payroll and Procurement Express Cards. Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a high level of confidentiality while performing day to day duties: prepare staff and student payroll for processing, process procurement card transactions, reconcile financial data, prepare reports and projections, and perform general office support duties. Contacts involve coordinating and working with individuals at all levels within the organization and within campus.
Glass Tech (Instructional Support Assistant II) RE-POSTED Chico
Under general supervision of the glass studio faculty and department chair, this position is responsible for operating, monitoring, repairing, and maintaining studio equipment and ensuring that required instructional materials are readily available and that teaching areas are kept prepared and ready for class use with an emphasis on safety. This position will be required to have the knowledge of equipment operation and the ability to repair equipment as needed to remain operational. Equipment maintenance and repairs will require flexibility in schedule in order to complete duties around course offerings.

Appointments are non-tenured and renewable annually dependent upon satisfactory performance, budget considerations, enrollment, and programmatic need. Appointments will be made as one of two classifications (Coaching Specialist or Coaching Assistant) depending upon contract length and rate of pay. Regardless of classification, the working title of this position shall be Assistant Coach. An Assistant Coach appointment may be an FLSA exempt position depending on job duties. Assistant Coach appointments may qualify for full benefits and may have a less than full-time time-base.
