Job/Department Summary:
Academic and Class Scheduling Analyst:
Working independently, under broad guidelines, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the creation of the University Class Schedule, administering the campus-wide software application used to schedule campus academic facilities (Ad Astra), ensuring Chico State receives full credit and funding for facilities utilization and faculty workload by reporting accurate and timely data to the Chancellors office. Incumbent provides training and technical support for above functions, in collaboration with other assigned staff.
Academic Publications & Scheduling Services is a team within the Office of the Registrar aligned to provide reliable and innovative support to staff, faculty, and administration campus wide. The Office of the Registrar is comprised of Graduation Advising, Academic Publications and Scheduling Services, Articulation, Degree Audit Programming, Student Records and Registration, and Veterans Affairs. The office serves as the point of contact for campus staff, faculty, students, and outsides agencies on questions related to the student information system operation, the student academic record, and many other campus systems, policies, and processes.
Curriculum and Course Setup Analyst:
Working independently, under general supervision, the Curriculum/Course Setup Analyst serves as the liaison between Curriculum Services and the groups implementing curricular change. The incumbent will ensure all approved curriculum changes flow efficiently and accurately into the necessary systems for all end users. The incumbent accurately represent curriculum information in the University Catalog following policies and standards established through Chico State, the CSU Chancellor's Office and Title 5.

Required Education and Experience (for both):
The knowledge, skills and abilities listed above would normally be obtained through a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training and two years of full-time administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs.
Preferences (for both):
Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
- Bilingual.
- Expertise with structured database queries and data analysis.
- Expertise with advanced data analysis features in MS Excel, such as pivot tables, graphs, etc.
Time Base: Full-time
Pay Plan: 12/12
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm
CSU Classification Salary Range: $50,040 - $90,540 per year.
