Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist II) REPOSTED Chico
Under the direction of the Laboratory Director (a physician), and as a licensed professional, incumbent is responsible for performing a wide variety of moderate to highly complex clinical laboratory tests and examinations which provide the medical staff with essential data and information for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness, diseases, and other conditions found within the University setting; and participates in laboratory quality control and assurance. Incumbent is also responsible and is accountable for the technical administration of the WellCat Health Center(WCHC) clinical laboratory. Will serve as technical consultant and supervisor by overseeing daily technical operations as outlined below. Prevention Specialist (Student Services Professional III) - REPOSTED Chico
Working independently, under general direction of the CAPE Administrator, the Prevention Specialist performs complex professional student services work. The Prevention Specialist is responsible for leading the health and wellness promotion efforts for campus and cultivating a campus environment in which students feel educated and empowered to make healthy and responsible choices that contribute to their overall personal and academic success. Additionally, they serve as the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Coordinator, developing and implementing strategies that target awareness, prevention, and treatment of the misuse of alcohol and other substances based on best practices and assessment of students challenged by alcohol and drug use. This program is committed to providing evidence-based educational programs and services that raise campus awareness about health and wellness, alcohol, drug and other substances.

Recreational Sports Team Leaders (Casual Workers, multiple sports) Chico
The Recreational Sports Coach reports to the Director of Recreational Sports and is supervised by the Sport Club Coordinator. Incumbent is responsible for providing a safe, educational environment for skill development, sportsmanship and tactical knowledge acquisition of an assigned team. The Chico State Sport Club Program provides students the opportunity to participate in competitive sports against other intercollegiate teams and represent Chico State, as a means to enhance their collegiate experience and provide a vehicle for a well-rounded education through physical, social, and leadership development. Hourly Interpreter (Hourly Interpreter) REVISED Chico
Under general supervision, the Hourly Interpreter provides ASL interpreting services to facilitate communication most often in a classroom or related instructional settings and activities for persons who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Assignments may involve technical or specialized subject matter and vocabulary. Individual assignments may vary based on the specific skills of the interpreter and the needs of the students or other consumers. More difficult tasks may involve interpreting technical or specialized subject matter and vocabulary, which require using specialized signs, accommodating consumer request for varied language preferences, and interpreting fast spoken material. Specific complexity and skill factors include type of interpreting or communication system needed, difficulty or unique nature of the subject matter and vocabulary, speed of interpreting required, and number of deaf or hard-of-hearing consumers served simultaneously.
