Associate Director of Development or Director of Development (Administrator I or II) Chico
The Associate Director of Development (Administrator I) manages a portfolio of major gift prospects and secures philanthropic support for the University. This role focuses on qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making gifts of $25,000 or more, with a minimum annual fundraising goal of $250,000, depending on experience and portfolio strength. The Associate Director plays a key role in strengthening the donor pipeline, engaging alumni and community partners, and advancing the University’s mission and strategic priorities. The Director of Development (Administrator II) is a front-line fundraiser responsible for managing a robust portfolio of major and leadership gift prospects, with an emphasis on gifts exceeding $100,000. The Director is expected to raise at least $1 million annually and works closely with academic and administrative leaders to advance strategic University initiatives. This position is integral to building strong donor relationships, engaging key stakeholders, and supporting the long-term success of the University’s fundraising efforts. Why Chico State?
