2026-27 Lecturer Pool Department of Child Development Chico
The Child Development Department in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.
Grounds Supervisor (Administrator I) Chico
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Custodial and Grounds, the Supervisor of Grounds and Landscaping Services is a member of the Facilities Management Services (FMS) leadership team and shares responsibility for the daily operations of the department. This position oversees scheduling and assignment of work, conducts site inspections, and ensures compliance with safety standards within the Grounds and Landscaping unit. The Supervisor provides direct oversight of grounds and landscaping personnel engaged in a full range of activities, including the planting, cultivation, fertilization, and maintenance of lawns, flowers, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas. The position is also responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and directing landscape and horticultural programs; reviewing project plans and designs; and inspecting completed work to ensure adherence to applicable specifications and standards. In collaboration with the Manager of Custodial and Grounds, the Supervisor assists with the preparation of the unit’s operating budget and the development of project timelines. Why Chico State? Nurse Practitioner Chico
Under the general administrative and medical direction of the Lead Physician, and in accordance with established standardized procedures and protocols, the Nurse Practitioner delivers comprehensive primary health care services to eligible students. These services include the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions; provision of preventive and health maintenance care; and delivery of health education and counseling. The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed health care provider whose scope of practice is formally defined by the supervising physician and is based on demonstrated competence, education, training, and experience.
