The College of Communications prepares communicators to advance a democratic society by undertaking critical academic inquiry, serving the community, and engaging in ethical and professional practice across all communications industries and in related fields. The College of Communication is a fast-paced, team environment with frequent interruptions. We are looking for student assistants who can make decisions, exercise sound judgment and discretion, handle multiple priorities and organize. The ideal candidate should be able to interact successfully with diverse group of students, instructors, staff and members of the business community.
College of Communications IT Student Assistant Support Fullerton
Under direct supervision, the student assistants in this position will perform a variation of duties as related to the support of the college in terms of IT. Duties include:  • Maintain and update the College of Communication technology (software and hardware) • Maintain and update the College of Communication websites. • Troubleshoot and resolve audio-visual issues in all College rooms/labs. • Assist faculty and staff with technical support for various technical issues. • Set up and configure hardware and software systems. • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance. • Exhibit strong communication skills
Graphic Design Student Assistant Fullerton
The CSUF Career Center serves all majors using a variety of modern and direct personal outreach tools and programs. Every year, the CSUF Career Center produces large scale events, career development programs and workshops in print and electronic form to fulfill this mission to serve students. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

 

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
