Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Campus Health & Wellbeing (AVP), this position plays an essential role in coordinating a wide range of administrative activities and duties for the department, and supports the AVP and Medical Director to carry out the department’s goals and initiatives. This position will be responsible for assisting with departmental communication, interpretation of policies and procedures, data entry and tracking, event coordination, scheduling, and general office duties.

Department Summary

The purpose of Campus Health & Wellbeing (CH&W) is to help students achieve and maintain academic success and lifelong health and wellbeing by providing timely and appropriate primary and acute health care, disease and injury prevention education, professional mental health, outreach, educational services and campus consultations.

Key Qualifications

  • Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
  • Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems.
  • Ability to understand problems from a broader perspective and anticipate the impact of office administration problems and solutions on other areas.
  • Ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or its equivalent. Five years of general office support or technical experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience)

Salary:

Anticipated Hiring Range: $43,200 - $56,400 per year

Classification Range: $40,224 - $67,668 per year
