Job Summary

  • Assist department head on resource allocation by research, monitoring and reporting of all State and Corporation accounts;
  • Prepare various financial documents including but not limited to hiring paperwork, purchasing, reimbursements for students, faculty and staff;
  • Execute payments for department expenditures;
  • Coordinate and monitor activities related to retention, promotion, tenure, post-tenure and periodic review while maintaining necessary deadlines;
  • Prepare various HR documents to hire department lecturers and student employees;
  • Review and approve master payroll certification and student assistant payroll;
  • Manage student employees;
  • Act as liaison between Head, faculty, staff and students to address their various needs;
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as needed or assigned;

Education and Experience

High school diploma or its equivalent. Five years of general office support or technical experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience)

Salary:

Anticipated Hiring Range: $19.85 - $21.84 per hour

Classification Range: $17.97 - $32.53 per hour
