| The Associate Director of Outreach, Recruitment and Retention will work under the general direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Programs to manage, implement, and assess all the operations of the Outreach and Recruitment Office and of all the MESA programs in the college. The incumbent will also be responsible for exploring opportunities and participating in the development of grant proposals to support recruitment and retention of students in engineering. The selected individual will collaborate with faculty and staff in the Engineering Student Success Center to organize and host outreach and recruitment events. Finally, the incumbent will collaborate with the Learning Communities Coordinator on the recruitment in, and implementation and administration of existing and new retention programs in the college, and with the Recruitment and Outreach Specialist on outreach and fundraising activities to increase the recruitment of high school and community college students in engineering programs at CSULB. |
