Public Contact Specialist (Administrative Support Assistant I) Chico
The Public Contact Specialist provides reception, public contact, and general administrative support for the Office of Admissions. The Office of Admissions supports the areas of enrollment applications, marketing and communications, recruitment and outreach, and a visitor program. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors and the public, delivering mail, entering data into and retrieving data from constituent relationship management systems, using Microsoft Office and campus software applications, preparing printed materials for dissemination, helping schedule campus tours and appointments, and working at Office of Admissions special events. This position supports all areas of the office and reports to the Campus Experience Coordinator. Day-to-day work is initially performed with direct supervision and detailed instructions changing to an occasional review as more independence is achieved.
