| Under general direction, the Event Specialist performs the full range of work related to program and policy research, analysis, development, evaluation, and operational analysis related to Special Events and Guest Services. This position provides recommendations and lead work direction to event services. Duties include but are not limited to, assisting with meeting revenue goals, maintaining materials, and providing hands-on trainings to student staff interested in entering the events management or technical production field. |

| Under the general supervision of the Associate Director for Residential Education, the Area Coordinator will monitor a designated residential community and provide lead work direction to 12-15 Resident Assistants and other DHRE student leaders. The position is a full-time, live-on, professional who will live in a campus apartment and serve as part of the Residential Education team. The position will involve assisting with the educational development of 400-600 campus students, recommending solutions for student development and community initiatives, crisis management; student leadership, academic success; and student mentorship. |
