We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trades Manager to lead and oversee the Plumbing (MEP), Maintenance, Paint, and Lock shops at our campus. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Maintenance, this role is responsible for the strategic direction, daily operations, and overall effectiveness of these critical campus services. The Trades Manager will ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of campus infrastructure systems, while also driving preventive maintenance programs, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing MEP systems, coordinating routine and emergency maintenance efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in facilities management, and a proven ability to improve system performance and operational efficiency.

Director, Government Relations Long Beach
Under the direction of Associate Vice President of University Relations, the Director of Government Relations plays a crucial role in overseeing federal, state, community, and local governmental relations for the CSU Long Beach. The incumbent is responsible for campus-based advocacy for CSU sponsored legislation and for the recruitment and training of key university support groups related to federal and state relations program and University priorities. The Director of Government Relations serves as the liaison between state and federal agencies, CSU Long Beach state and congressional delegation, congressional and state alumni, and other state elected officials' throughout California.
