The Health Educator – Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) is under the general direction of the Associate Vice President for Disability Access and Student Well-being. Responsible for advancing a comprehensive, evidence-informed approach to alcohol and other drug prevention, education, and harm reduction within a university setting. This position leads and supports initiatives that promote student health, safety, and academic success by addressing substance use through public health and equity-centered lens. While this role maintains a primary focus on AOD prevention and related student support efforts, the Health Educator is also an integral member of the health promotion team and is expected to contribute to broader campus-wide health education initiatives, including mental health promotion, violence prevention, sexual health, and overall student wellness.
