The course teaches basic calculus concepts with applications to business, economics, and the social sciences. Differential calculus for algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions; optimization, linearization, and other applications of derivatives; introduction to integral calculus. Includes use of graphing calculators. |

| The Department of Art, Media, and Design at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers in Art and Visual Culture as well as Digital and Media Arts. Salary is commensurate with credential and experience. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. | Reporting to the Director of Student Involvement, the Senior Operations Specialist performs duties under general supervision and works independently to coordinate departmental fiscal operations, University Personnel, and administrative support, and to assist with departmental outreach efforts and program support. Responsibilities will include overseeing the Student Involvement reception area, managing departmental inventory, handling day-to-day budget management, and serving as Student Involvement’s University Personnel lead. |
