The Career Empowerment Center (CEC) seeks a motivated, detail-oriented person to join as Employer Relations Associate. Ideal for candidates with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, eager to support students and connect with employers. Focuses on employer engagement, event planning, communications, marketing, and collaborating with campus partners to aid students post-grad. Under the Assistant Director, Employer Relations, the Associate will build and maintain employer ties to grow internship and job options for students. Key tasks: support engagement via job posts, career events, and campus visits; organize fairs and workshops; assist student-employer links to boost hiring outcomes.
The role needs coordination with student organizations, faculty, and staff to prep students for employer expectations. This position also shares employer insights, like recruitment best practices and requirements. Local travel may be needed for employer meets or networking. This role offers a great chance to grow career services and employer relations skills while aiding Cal State East Bay students’ success. |

Under the direct supervision of the Director, Career Empowerment Center, the Experiential Learning Coordinator supports the development and implementation of experiential learning opportunities, internship programs, and on-campus employment at Cal State East Bay. This role helps connect students with both short and long-term work experiences (including virtual experiences and simulations) that complement their classroom learning and assists with student employment initiatives. The coordinator works collaboratively with staff, faculty, and community partners to promote experiential learning opportunities for Cal State East Bay students. |

The incumbent works with faculty, staff and students in the library and on campus to develop curriculum and programming for these areas. The incumbent also supports research and scholarly activities utilizing a variety of emerging and innovative technologies and participates in grant funded activities related to these areas. |
