Lead Water Distribution and Collection Specialist	San José
The Lead Water Distribution and Collection Specialist performs skilled journey-level plumbing work including installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of water, gas, steam, sewage, fire prevention, and refrigeration systems. Duties include troubleshooting and testing systems (including backflow devices), assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings, managing lab utilities, estimating project costs and materials, inspecting work for code compliance, and maintaining tools, equipment, and records. Work may involve exposure to hazardous materials.
Laborer	San José
The laborer performs manual labor including moving heavy furniture and equipment, assisting with event setup, and loading/unloading materials. Cleans and maintains assigned areas removing debris, power washing, clearing gutters and drainage, and hauling waste and recyclables. Supports construction and grounds crews with basic tasks such as site prep, rough repairs, demolition, pavement patching, pruning, and debris removal. Operates and performs basic maintenance on hand tools and power equipment.

Under the oversight of the Director of Administrative Services, the Senior Accounting and Business Services Specialist oversees a variety of broad and complex financial, accounting and budgeting services related to trust, bond, general fund, and auxiliary accounts. Provides lead group direction and day-to-day financial oversight of budget, payroll, accounting, project accounting, procurement, and cost recovery. Provides strategic leadership and analysis in the utilization of information systems within the department and input to recommended policies that have a major operational impact.

The incumbent operates hand and power tools, assists with irrigation repair, tree work, athletic field preparation, and nursery functions, responds to routine and emergency service needs, maintains work records, and follows safety, sustainability, and customer service standards in support of the University’s mission.

The Athletic Academic Advisor provides academic advising, coaching, and assessment to student-athletes; ensures compliance with CSU, SJSU, Mountain West Conference, and NCAA requirements; and develops and evaluates academic support and retention programs. The advisor also serves as a liaison to assigned coaching staff and supports the Gadway and YUH Academic Centers.
