The Department of Human Development at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. The Department Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our subject areas: General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, or specialized certification for lecture and/or activity classes, in a field of Chemistry or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.

A Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences or related field is required for these positions. However, for certain non-major courses only, the Ph.D. requirement may be waived, but M.S. is required. The policy and expectation is that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California.
Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem, Non-Exempt), Student Health Center - Temporary - Palm Desert Campus	San Bernardino - Palm Desert Campus
Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus.
