Under the general direction of the Associate Director of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), the EOP First-Year Experience (FYE) Coordinator independently performs complex professional student services work requiring independent judgment, comprehensive student advisement, program planning, and coordination that supports the academic achievement, persistence, and graduation of historically low-income, first-generation, and educationally disadvantaged students. The incumbent serves as the lead advisor for first-time freshmen, coordinates the EOP First-Year Experience and Summer Bridge programs, provides holistic advising and case management, supervises paraprofessional student staff, and collaborates with campus partners to develop innovative, equity-minded programs that promote student success. The position utilizes assessment, student success data, and best practices to continuously improve programming and student outcomes while advancing the mission of California State University, Chico and the Educational Opportunity Program.

Clinical Case Manager (Student Services Professional IV)

| Under general direction of the WellCat Counseling Center Director and Project Rebound Director, the Clinical Case Manager supports the mission of WellCat Services (WCS) and Project Rebound Director through the provision of a range of clinical services for students with a focus on early intervention and easing access to care and housing support for Project Rebound students. Clinical work will include integrated primary care behavioral health same-day services; brief assessment; individual, couples, and group counseling; crisis intervention; outreach; case management; consultation; and prevention education. The Clinical Case Manager will serve as a bridge to appropriate clinical care within WCS and to resources on campus and in the community, will also be involved in new student orientation. Work may be performed in a WCS office or clinic, or at satellite location(s) on campus. This position requires considerable crisis intervention and work with serious presenting concerns as well as the ability to conceptualize cases and provide diagnoses within sociocultural context. Clinicians with specialization and expertise in working with historically marginalized students are strongly encouraged to apply.

| Reporting directly to the Network Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Executive HR Advisor (EHRA) for SFSU is the on-site HR advisor and day-to-day relationship owner for SFSU, serving as the primary point of HR leadership for the campus President, Provost, vice presidents, deans, and campus community. The EHRA is the senior HR presence on SFSU and may serve on the President’s cabinet at the President’s discretion.
