Lead Carpenter

The Lead Carpenter, assigned to the Carpenter Shop within the Maintenance & Operations unit of Facilities Development & Operations, works under general supervision and provides lead direction for journey-level crafts workers and semi-skilled assistants, laying out and coordinating the work flow for the shop, preparing materials lists, and ordering supplies in addition to performing work as a skilled carpenter. Staff within the Carpenter Shop are responsible for a full range of journey-level skilled work in rough and finished skilled carpentry, to ensure a clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained learning environment. |
Refrigeration Mechanic

The Facilities Development and Operations department is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join the team! In this position, the incumbent will perform the full range of skilled journey-level air conditioning and refrigeration work including install, troubleshoot, calibrate, service, repair and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems, equipment, instruments, and controls using electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or digitally controlled systems. If you have journey-level skills equivalent to that acquired through the completion of a refrigeration or air conditioning mechanics apprenticeship program and a California driver's License, we want to hear from you! |
