The Director of Accounting & Reporting, Student Financial Services provides leadership and oversight for student financial operations, including cashiering, collections, student accounts, and campus billing for the main campus and auxiliary business units. This position oversees student billing and collections, tuition and fee assessment, third‑party invoicing, accounts receivable, campus‑wide cash handling, financial aid disbursement, and the administration of systems such as PeopleSoft Student Financials, CashNet, and e‑Markets. The Director ensures accurate internal and external accounting and reporting for earned and unearned revenue in compliance with federal, state, CSU, and university regulations, exercises sound judgment in handling confidential student financial information, and collaborates with campus partners to ensure efficient billing, cash management, and collection processes. The role provides leadership, training, and guidance to staff to deliver best‑in‑class customer service to students, parents, and the campus community.
