Reporting to the Director of Operations and Maintenance, this role is responsible for the strategic direction, daily operations, and overall effectiveness of these critical campus services. The Trades Manager will ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of campus infrastructure systems, while also driving preventive maintenance programs, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include preventing maintenance, coordinating routine and emergency maintenance efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in facilities management, and a proven ability to improve system performance and operational efficiency. |

| The Department of Economics at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our open Lecturer Pool for AY 2026/27. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool as will only be good for the current academic year.
