Project Technologist/Office of Academic Research (UEC)

| Under the direction of the Chief Research Officer, the Project Technologist provides specialized, high-level technical leadership to the Office of Academic Research (OAR) by architecting and operationalizing information systems that modernize and automate sponsored research administration. The incumbent serves as OAR’s primary technologist for analytics and AI initiatives, translating complex, multi-step pre-award and post-award business rules (grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements) into secure, scalable, datadriven solutions that reduce administrative burden and improve compliance. Core responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining enterprisegrade Power BI research and funding dashboards for executive decision support; developing AI/agentic applications and chatbots that guide faculty and staff through funding discovery, policy interpretation, and reporting; and integrating data across campus and OAR platforms to create a single, governed source of truth for the Chief Research Officer. This work is missioncritical to OAR’s ability to grow research activity and is performed on campus in close collaboration with leadership and administrative units. The position requires advanced knowledge of information systems, business intelligence, and applied AI — and the ability to align technology with university research strategies. |

Housing Coordinator/Project Rebound (UEC)

| The Project Rebound Housing Coordinator (HC) is responsible for coordinating Project Rebound’s supportive housing initiative and assisting Project Rebound students (both residents and non-residents) with their supportive housing needs. The HC is responsible for assessing residents' needs and making appropriate referrals to on-campus and offcampus resources. The position requires a strong background in case management and/or residential services provision. A criminal justice background is an asset. |
