The Associate Vice President for Human Resources provides strategic leadership and oversight for all HR functions serving the CSUSB community. Reporting to the Vice President for Human Resources, the AVP serves as a key advisor to campus leadership and oversees workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and HR policy administration. The AVP ensures compliance with applicable laws and CSU policies, fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace, and leads a high-performing HR team. The position collaborates with campus and CSU system partners, leads strategic HR initiatives, and provides executive-level leadership in the absence of the Vice President for Human Resources.
Associate Vice President, Student Equity (Administrator III), Division of Student Affairs San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Associate Vice President for Student Success & Educational Equity provides senior leadership for programs that advance student success, retention, persistence, graduation, and educational equity. Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the AVP oversees key student success units and leads efforts to improve outcomes for all students, with emphasis on first-generation, low-income, and underserved populations. The role partners across Academic Affairs and external stakeholders to implement strategies that close equity gaps and support student achievement. Responsibilities include strategic planning, assessment, budget and resource oversight, organizational leadership, and advancing initiatives aligned with accreditation and the CSU Graduation Initiative.

The Senior Director of Development, Society, Arts & Civic Life is responsible for advancing philanthropic support that aligns with the academic mission and strategic priorities of Sacramento State’s College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies and College of Arts and Letters. Reporting to the Vice President of University Advancement, the Senior Director serves as the principal advancement partner to both Deans, fostering strong collaborative relationships with faculty, academic leaders, advisory boards, alumni, community partners, foundations, and individual donors.
Annual Giving Associate Sacramento
The Annual Giving Associate performs project coordination, operational, and programmatic work in support of the University’s annual giving efforts. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving (AVP), this position executes and coordinates annual giving activities in collaboration with the Senior Annual Giving Officer, the Leadership Annual Giving Development Officer, and Athletics Annual Giving.
