Under the general direction of the Manager of Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Technician II takes the lead on a wide range of dynamic, professional-level responsibilities that keep the Accounts Payable operation — and the entire campus community — running smoothly. This role is hands-on and fast-moving, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, from vendor invoices to CSU-compliant travel expense reports. The incumbent also dives into evaluating activities for withholding tax requirements, coordinating annual 1099 reporting to the IRS, and serving as a go-to resource for ongoing education and support across campus.
