| The Department of Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in biological psychology. We seek candidates with expertise in biological psychology, neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, or closely related disciplines whose research complements and expands the department's existing strengths. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biological psychology and neuroscience, establish a research program that actively involves undergraduate and master's students, and demonstrates the potential to secure external
funding that supports research and student training.
The department offers dedicated laboratory space, specialized equipment, and facilities supporting both human and non-human animal research, providing an excellent environment for developing an independent research program and interdisciplinary collaborations. We seek a colleague committed to outstanding teaching, inclusive mentorship, and fostering the academic and professional success of our diverse student population. A Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or a related area is required at the time of appointment. The expected start date for the position is August 16, 2027. |
