| Reporting to the Vice President of University Advancement and the Director for Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Vice President's office and related programs and projects within the division. This position works directly with the Vice President, the Director for Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects, Associate Vice Presidents, and other managers on issues that are sensitive/complex and of a highly confidential nature. The assistant partners with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects to serve as a liaison between the Vice President for University Advancement and campus staff, university administration, the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation, and external organizations with which the Vice President is actively involved and that are affiliated with the university. This position also provides direction to the administrators and managers in the interpretation and implementation of the university and CSU policies and procedures. The assistant supports the Vice President and Director for Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects in carrying out all programs and activities of the division and is required to carry out simultaneously a wide range of activities requiring extensive coordination to meet frequent deadlines. |

The course introduces students to the fundamentals of developing applications for mobile devices including smart phones and tablets. Common issues and special consideration for programming on mobile devices will be discussed. Software engineering principles in project design and human-computer interaction will be applied. Students will also learn about the development cross-platform mobile Web applications. |
