Lecturer Pool - Computer Science & Engineering AY 2025/26 San Marcos
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year.  Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st.  If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.
Presidential Aide - Office of the President San Francisco
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role provides support to the Chief of Staff, and Office of the President at the administrative and clerical levels. The incumbent works closely with the Executive Assistant to the President at all levels and provides support and assistance through project collaboration to promote program success in the Office of the President. The responsibilities include: planning, coordinating and supporting, all President's office processes, and assisting in all event coordination. The incumbent is expected to work effectively and collaboratively with frequent face to face interactions while prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines. The position requires a professional, dependable and well-organized individual with initiative, good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills. The incumbent must be capable of successfully interacting with a diverse population of administrators, faculty, staff, and students. This role supports in processing invoice payments, makes travel arrangements, and processes reimbursement, orders supplies, prepares, and submits requisitions to create purchase orders and assists with events coordination, including scheduling meetings with SF State staff and community members. In addition, the incumbent provides general office support and acts as a liaison between the President’s Office and SFSU campus departments.

The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2025 to teach BIOL 211: Introduction to Oganismal and Population Biology Lec/Lab in Fall 2025. The course is the second of a two-semester core sequence that provides the student with basic knowledge in biology, including specific experimental techniques and familiarity with the scientific method. Emphasizes physiology, development, diversity of life, evolution, and ecology.
Lecturer - BIOL 354: Principles of Ecology - Lab (Fall 2025) San Marcos
The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2025 to teach  Discussion/Lab sections of BIOL 354: Principles of Ecology. The course is defined as discussion of major concepts in population, community, and evolutionary ecology including population growth and regulation, competition, predation, energetics, adaptations, and diversity. Three hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Field trip(s) during or outside of class (including weekends) may be required.
Dean, School of Education Channel Islands
The Dean of the School of Education is the chief academic, fiscal, and administrative officer of the school and reports to the Provost. The Dean works closely with the other Deans and Associate/Assistant Vice Presidents in Academic Affairs, the Director of Clinical Experiences & Partnerships and Accreditation, program Chairs and other Directors, other units within the Division of Academic Affairs, other Divisions within the University, and the administrative support staff within Academic Affairs.
