Provides general office support and oversees the common daily operations of the Computer Science and Engineering Hub. Department of Physics & Astronomy- Assistant Professor San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications from a diverse group of qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position to begin August 2026. The Department offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Physics, with minors in astronomy and applied physics, and is currently in the planning stages for an interdisciplinary M.S. degree in Materials Science, which is associated with the Center for Advanced Functional Materials (https://www.csusb.edu/center-advanced-functional-materials). We welcome applications in all areas of research in physics. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching and conducting research in the areas of quantum, AMO, or materials sciences and can help support the masters degree program in materials science, as well as teach a broad spectrum of undergraduate physics courses.  The successful candidate will join an intellectually stimulating and innovative academic environment that embraces diversity. Under the leadership of the Director of the Student Health Services (SHS), the Nurse Clinic Manager is responsible for the care provided to SF State University students by SHS's Registered Nurses and licensed/unlicensed clinical support staff. The Nurse Clinic Manager is responsible for leading the daily and administrative functions in the SHS. Principal responsibilities include operations, managing of staff and resources, facilitating research and education, and maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. The Nurse Clinic Manager establishes quality improvement efforts to support the delivery of patient focused care and knowledge-based decision making as the framework for superior delivery of care. The Nurse Clinic Manager facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among the SHS staff regarding identification, planning, and provision of high quality, cost-effective care. Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Disability Access and Student Well-Being (DASW), the Director of the Disability Programs & Resource Center is responsible for ensuring the provision of appropriate academic accommodations to 2,000+ students with documented permanent or temporary disabilities. As a designated campus official, this position oversees academic accommodation services for disabled students and the delivery of accommodated testing services; manages programs; develops and implements the overall budget for DPRC; represents the Student Disability Center DPRC and accommodated testing services on campus and system wide committees and advisory boards; and supervise professional staff.
