We seek candidates with a commitment to high impact teaching, an active research agenda, and a dedication to university and community service. Sub field expertise is open; however, we prefer candidates who are able to teach across our MPA leadership and non-profit management core curriculums.
Department of Child, Adolescent & Family Studies-Assistant Professor San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Child, Adolescent, & Family Studies at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications from a diverse group of qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor, tenure track position to begin August 2026. The Department invites applications from teacher-scholars who will enrich our courses in statistics and research methodology; scholars whose work involves adolescent development and/or family studies are especially encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates are those that: • Possess the necessary content expertise in statistics and research methodology, • Specialize in studying the family and/or adolescent development • Engage in scholarship and teaching supporting historically underrepresented groups, diversity, equity, and/or social justice. The Department of Child, Adolescent, & Family Studies offers both theoretical and practical application courses, designed to help prepare graduates for direct service careers working with children of diverse backgrounds, to merge developmental knowledge with practical experience, and to prepare students for graduate training.
Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation and Counseling - Open Rank, Tenure-Track San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The successful candidate will be required to (a) teach evening courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats in the post-baccalaureate credential and graduate programs including strands in special education foundations and instructional practices for learners with extensive support needs (severe/profound disabilities); (b) supervise and evaluate fieldwork activities, (c) advise credential and graduate students; (d) participate in curriculum development and ongoing program assessment activities; and (e) participate in scholarly activity and service. The successful candidate may be required to teach courses at both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert Campuses.
Performing Arts Technician Pool (Hourly) East Bay
This position performs and assists in backstage technical operations for University Theatre events, including lighting, sound, rigging, carpentry, and general stage production support. Aids in mounting departmental productions and servicing external events by constructing and setting up technical systems such as scenery, props, and effects. Supports backstage and shop operations, helps train and guide student assistants in the safe and proper use of equipment and materials, and ensures facilities and equipment are maintained. Performs related duties as assigned.

The Undergraduate Recruitment Specialist represents SF State and the CSU System at various recruitment and yield events, counselor conferences, the community based events. Incumbent recruits, advises, and evaluates admissions requirements for prospective undergraduate students to SF State and the CSU system. The incumbent educates the public (including K-12, Community College, Community Based Organizations, and SF State stakeholders) about admissions requirements, policies, and processes and developing and implementing programs for student recruitment
