The School of Education at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.

Executive Director of Development	Pomona	Jul 16, 2026
The Executive Director of Development will report directly to the Associate Vice President for Development/Chief Development Officer and will manage a fundraising and donor stewardship portfolio to advance institutional philanthropic priorities. The Executive Director of Development will serve as the primary director of development for two colleges, the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) and the College of Education and Integrative Education (CEIS). In addition to leading development and fundraising efforts for these two colleges, the Executive Director will have oversight of directors of development for the following colleges/areas: Huntley College of Agriculture, College of Environmental Design, Athletics, and the Division of Student Affairs. The Executive Director will also lead efforts to advance fundraising and development for Future Career Paths, one of three institutional philanthropic priorities, and special university programs targeting major donors. The Executive Director will also work closely with the AVP for Development/CDO in staffing the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation's Donor Engagement and Stewardship Committee, and the University Advancement Chief of Staff in the development and execution of a comprehensive communications framework. The Executive Director for Development is one of two such positions; the second position has responsibility and oversight of the following colleges/areas: Business, Hospitality Management, Science, Engineering, and the University Library. Both Executive Directors will be required to work in strategic partnerships to build and implement the university's philanthropic agenda, as well as collaborate within and beyond University Advancement.

This course introduces business analytics concepts and tools that are used in various business functions. The course consists of two distinct parts: predictive and prescriptive modeling/analytics. The predictive analytics section covers the use of statistical data in order to understand and solve business problems. Subjects include a review of descriptive statistics tools, hypothesis testing, ANOVA and simple/multiple regression analysis. Statistical data-mining models are also discussed. Prescriptive analytics section covers deterministic optimization models. Statistical software and spreadsheet optimization are introduced.

The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a Senior Director of Community College Collaboration, Strategy and Implementation to provide senior-level leadership, strategic direction, project management and policy coordination for the California State University’s intersegmental engagement with the California Community Colleges (CCC) system. This position resides in the Division of Academic Affairs and serves as the CSU’s principal architect for advancing collaborative strategies that improve student access, success, transfer, degree attainment and career readiness across California’s post-secondary ecosystem, with a particular focus on the CCC sector. The incumbent identifies and advances opportunities for system alignment, policy coherence and shared initiatives and administrative structures consistent with the CSU mission and statewide attainment goals. As needed, the incumbent will engage with the University of California, AICCU and other partners on work involving the CCC system, transfer and collaborative opportunities.
