| Under the general supervision of the Director of Veterans Services, the incumbent will provide comprehensive advising that is equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive, and that enhances the quality of campus life and supports the academic success of student veterans, servicemembers, and eligible dependents. The incumbent will also serve as School Certifying Official for certification of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA) and California Department of Veterans Affairs (CDVA) education and vocational rehabilitation benefits for eligible students. |

| The Assistant Director, Transfer Admissions organizes, plans, and directs the work of the Transfer Admissions Evaluation Unit under the general direction of the Associate Director, Admissions. This position is responsible for the general operations of the admissions cycle, coordination of staff training, and dissemination of information related to admissions to prospective students, departments and colleges, and the general public.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts. |
