| The Department of Public Health invites applications from part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses for students both within and outside the major. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis as instructional needs arise. The department welcomes applications from qualified candidates across a broad range of public health–related areas, including but not limited to health and medical humanities, health disparities and equity, bioethics, health law, health economics, health regulation, and health care payment systems. A doctoral-level degree, e.g. PhD, DrPH, MD, JD, or proof of candidacy for a doctorate is required; applicants with a Master’s Degree with accompanying certification and/or work experience will be considered. Candidates with experience teaching within a population perspective through a lens of social determinants are desired. The Department prefers applicants with teaching experience at the college/university level, primarily in-person. The policy and expectation of the California State University is that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California. |
