Academic Counselor - (Student Services Professional III) - College Advising	San Francisco
The Academic Counselor assists students in exploring, affirming, and declaring into a major, identifying strengths and interests, and overcoming academic and personal challenges. Additionally, the Academic Counselor helps students understand SFSU’s campus policies and procedures and graduation requirements (general education and major/minor). The Academic Counselor is responsible for providing consistent, accurate, complex advising to undergraduate students. Working independently, the Academic Counselor provides individual and group counseling that requires the use of advising and counseling techniques to evaluate students’ academic interests and to facilitate major and career exploration. The Academic Counselor assists students in setting goals to facilitate success, persistence, and timely degree completion. In addition, the incumbent independently leads, develops, plans, implements, and evaluates advising-related projects that support SFSU students.
Financial Aid Specialist (SSP IA)	Sacramento
As an SSPIA in the Financial Aid Office you will serve as a point of contact supporting a diverse student population seeking assistance with financial aid and scholarship-related matters. This position provides high-quality service and accurate information and may require moderate analysis and providing sound professional judgement. It involves responding to general inquiries, assisting with basic transactions, and directly students to appropriate resources. Health Educator	East Bay
Under the supervision of the AVP/Dean of Students and work lead direction of the Wellness Services Coordinator the Health Educator engages the campus community in evidence-based approaches to support student wellness and disseminate data to drive findings of associated programs. This position will coordinate operations for the WellNest including food pantry appointments, operational procedures for food storage, food distribution, providing health resources, and cooking demonstrations. The Health Educator regularly collaborates with university committees to implement strategic initiatives to address the wellbeing needs of students. This position is responsible to assess, design, implement, and evaluate wellbeing programs. Additionally, the Health Educator regularly conducts workshops and outreach events promoting campus resources, as well as implements wellbeing messaging through social marketing approaches. The Health Educator inform wellbeing issues pertinent to a university setting including but not limited to Basic Needs - food & housing security, Alcohol, Tobacco, & Other Drugs (ATOD), Cold/Flu, Nutrition/Fitness, Self-Care, Sexual Health, and Violence Prevention. This position provides guidance for wellbeing campaigns, programs and services offered within the WellNest and Wellness Center. The Health Educator also works closely with campus partners to support promotion of wellness services and leadership development for student assistants.

The Recreational Sports Coach reports to the Director of Recreational Sports and is supervised by the Sport Club Coordinator. Incumbent is responsible for providing a safe, educational environment for skill development, sportsmanship and tactical knowledge acquisition of an assigned team. The Chico State Sport Club Program provides students the opportunity to participate in competitive sports against other intercollegiate teams and represent Chico State, as a means to enhance their collegiate experience and provide a vehicle for a well-rounded education through physical, social, and leadership development. Casual Workers are paid on an hourly basis and are not eligible for benefits, sick leave, vacation leave, personal holiday or shift differential. Incumbents are not eligible to earn permanent status in the Casual Worker classification.
