Under general direction of the Director, Employment Services, the Manager, Employment Services is a “working manager” responsible for the day-to-day operations of the employment services department. The Senior Manager, Employment Services provides quality and timely customer service to the campus community and departmental constituents, and advises administrators, staff and faculty of administrative policies, procedures, and legal issues related to employment services functions of the University. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, based on departmental needs and event scheduling.

Under the Division of Student Affairs, and general supervision from the Director of the Office of Black Student Success (OBSS), the Program Coordinator identifies and mentors students on routine matters using the African American (AA) Data Dashboard, Educational Advisory Board (EAB), and other methods of bringing students in for services when needed. The Program Coordinator supports OBSS in moderately complex professional student service work by utilizing knowledge and judgement of principles, techniques, standards, guides, and professional skills to advise students. Services are provided through student peer mentorship programs, leadership training, retention activities, educational curriculum presentations, direct student advising/counseling, and other services to promote student success. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will help assist current CSUSB students in their quest for financial literacy and work with established partners to support student needs.
Event Specialist (Administrative Analyst/Specialist I Exempt), University Advancement - Special Events & Guest Service San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under general direction, the Event Specialist performs the full range of work related to program and policy research, analysis, development, evaluation, and operational analysis related to Special Events and Guest Services. This position provides recommendations and lead work direction to event services. Duties include but are not limited to, assisting with meeting revenue goals, maintaining materials, and providing hands-on trainings to student staff interested in entering the events management or technical production field.
