The Interim Dean of the School of Education serves as the temporary educational leader and chief administrator of the faculty and staff in the School of Education under the supervision of the Provost. The Interim Dean provides leadership and administrative oversight over the School of Education, designed to collaboratively support student learning, academic success, and innovative educational practices in teacher preparation and educational leadership programs. The Interim Dean of the School of Education provides administrative and financial management of resources and advocates for the academic programs and services within the School.
The Interim Dean of the School of Education has supervisory responsibility for administrators, faculty, and staff in the School of Education. In collaboration with these colleagues, the Interim Dean oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures and the management of academic programs, partnerships, and related initiatives. The Interim Dean is responsible for promoting a learning environment that focuses on student success and enhancing the educational experience. The Interim Dean works with leadership across the School of Education, Division of Academic Affairs, and University to collaborate with various academic and co-curricular units, lead program planning and new initiatives, and promotes the School’s programs and services locally, regionally, and nationally. |

The Director is responsible for providing visionary leadership by keeping up to date with new trends and theories in the field of Student Affairs. The Director is responsible for the overall management, planning, administration, and evaluation of the department’s programs, services, facilities, and budgets. |
