Assistant Professor of Psychology (Clinical Counseling)	San Marcos
California State University San Marcos invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Counseling or Clinical Psychology beginning Fall 2027. The successful candidate will help lead and shape the department’s new M.S. in Clinical Counseling Psychology—launched in Fall 2026 and designed to prepare students for licensure as a professional clinical counselor (LPCC) —through curriculum development, clinic development, and community partnerships. The role also includes participating in a rotating schedule of program-related responsibilities (e.g., summer teaching, evaluation of Master’s projects). Department of Biology Teaching Associate (TA) Pool	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department of Biology at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time graduate student teaching assistant applications from qualified individuals for our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) and/or our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). Candidates for this position should be graduate students in the MS Biology program and should possess good organizational and communication skills with a drive to enhance student success. Prior teaching experience is recommended but not required. This position will involve teaching laboratory or discussion sections, mainly in our foundational level courses including Introduction to Biology Lab, Principles of Biology I and II, Microbiology for Allied Health Majors, and Human Anatomy and Physiology for Allied Health Majors I and II. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Under the direction of the Library Dean, the Business Systems Analyst oversees the Library Systems Unit, providing lead work direction and project management of technology-related library projects. This position supports implementation of library initiatives, as part of a team, as well as completing assigned tasks independently. These tasks include improving technology efficiencies, keeping up with and evaluating library technology trends, setting priorities for library technology implementation, and ensuring that library systems are updated and maintained. The successful candidate will have a dedicated interest in undergraduate teaching excellence, preparation to teach general microbiology and microbial diversity, a record of publication, a demonstrated ability or potential to establish externally-funded research, and enthusiasm for mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in research. Postdoctoral and/or additional professional experience in the candidate’s area of specialty and evidence of teaching proficiency are preferred. Candidates whose teaching and research complement existing areas in the Department are also preferred.
