| The College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) is composed of two schools and six departments. The college is the academic home of courses in Health & Human Sciences. The college takes great pride in its degree programs which provide students with a theoretical base developed and tested through research; knowledge that can be applied in diverse systems; processes that incorporate human understanding and cooperation; and supervised practice through internships, practical and/or preceptorships in a variety of career-related settings. In addition, CHHS is home to the Air Force ROTC. | The department of Computer Science at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of either assistant professor, preferably in at least one of a series of specializations.
The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and have research interests in Cloud Computing, Big Data Management, Cybersecurity, Network Architecture, Dev-Ops, Operating Systems, Theoretical Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, Software Engineering, Database Systems, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence.
In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours, attending faculty meetings, participation in assessment of student learning, and service to the department, college, and university. The successful candidate will be held to the standards and requirements of the college and department in which he/she/they is/are housed for recommending tenure and promotion.
