Cal Poly Humboldt and the School of Engineering invites applicants for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty position with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, and/or Environmental Resources Engineering. We are seeking candidates  from any discipline within the School of Engineering who can contribute to multiple program areas through expertise in the basic engineering sciences. We particularly value scholars who can support the needs of our growing student body and effectively bridge multiple areas of Engineering through their research, teaching, and service contributions. The successful candidate’s upper-division expertise should support either the Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or Environmental Resources Engineering Programs.

The Construction Management Department in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, & Construction Management at California State University, Chico is seeking applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring mentor and educator who champions inclusive excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship, professional engagement, and service. Candidate will teach structural engineering courses ranging from first-year undergraduate to master’s level and engage in scholarly activities appropriate to tenure status and rank.
