In this role, you’ll help plan and deliver a comprehensive orientation experience by coordinating schedules, managing program operations, developing publications, and maintaining digital content. You’ll present to large audiences, collaborate across campus departments, and support the recruitment and supervision of a team of student leaders. | Under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities Operations (DFO), the Assistant Manager of Building Trades is a member of the FMS leadership team and shares responsibility for day-to-day departmental operations. This role oversees the daily execution of building trades maintenance services, fleet operations, and central warehouse inventory control. The incumbent provides direct supervision to assigned trades and support staff, ensuring the efficient delivery of preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, fleet compliance, materials management, and in-house construction services in alignment with departmental standards.
Direct reports include unionized staff such as Facilities Workers, Facilities Maintenance Mechanics, a Mason, a Metal Worker, and Central Warehouse personnel.

| The Director of Development, Planned Giving is the University’s lead strategist and frontline fundraiser for planned and deferred gifts. This role builds, grows, and sustains a comprehensive program that advances long-term philanthropic priorities.
As a senior member of the Development team, the Director focuses on securing estate commitments and other deferred gifts, generating at least $2 million annually in documented commitments. The position emphasizes donor education, legacy society stewardship, strategic marketing, and close collaboration with colleagues to integrate planned giving into the University’s overall fundraising strategy.
Although titled Director of Development, this role does not manage a traditional major gift portfolio. Instead, it serves as the University’s subject-matter expert and primary driver of planned giving strategy, cultivation, and execution.
