Housing Coordinator (Temporary) East Bay
Project Rebound is a CSU-wide student support program serving formerly incarcerated students across 20 of 22 CSU campuses. Modeled after the original program founded at San Francisco State in 1967, Cal State East Bay’s Project Rebound (established in 2022) provides a supportive, accessible environment where justice-impacted students can apply, persist, and succeed in their academic, career, and leadership goals. Project Rebound Scholars contribute meaningfully to the campus community and engage in peer support, civic participation, and community leadership to strengthen families and communities. The Housing Coordinator for Project Rebound, working closely with the appropriate administrator, is responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and management of housing support services for Project Rebound scholars. These scholars include students living in campus housing, those receiving off-campus rental subsidies, and students residing in university-supported private residences or apartment complexes. The Housing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that students have access to safe, stable, and supportive housing environments that promote academic success and persistence, personal well-being, and successful community reintegration. The Housing Coordinator, working closely with appropriate administrator(s), leads the design and implementation of housing programs, manages complex student needs with professionalism and cultural competence, and builds strong partnerships with campus housing departments, property managers, landlords, and community-based housing providers. Working independently, the Housing Coordinator administers housing resources across multiple funding streams, ensures compliance with grant requirements, and evaluates program effectiveness.
Gift Processor (Advancement Professional I - Non-Exempt, Range 1) - Advancement Services San Francisco
Under general supervision of Senior Director of Advancement Services, the Gift Processor processes donations to the University, including cash, check, and credit card transactions. The incumbent posts gifts to the Blackbaud RE NXT donor database and processes gift receipts and acknowledgement letters, as required. The incumbent responds to donor inquiries and special requests from staff and faculty regarding information in the RE NXT database. The incumbent provides daily updates to RE NXT donor database. Maintain Central Files and ensure records are in good condition by keeping files organized, properly labeled, legible and in compliance with IRS publications and CSU Chancellor’s Office Retention policies. Facilitate the Central Files scanning procedures by converting the paper copies into a digital & readable format and labeling files appropriately. The Gift Processor processes and posts gifts, and as needed, generates gift receipts and letters. The incumbent must maintain high work standard, produce error-free output, and exercise discretion and tact in dealing with highly confidential material. Responsible for reviewing/auditing own work to ensure integrity. Resolves gift processing issues and make recommendations as to courses of action. The Gift Processor is expected to work cooperatively and effectively with administrators, other staff, donors, and students. This position requires extreme attention to detail, follow through, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Under general supervision, the incumbent performs a full range of journey-level locksmith duties to ensure the security of University facilities and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations. Catalog Editor/Curriculum Analyst East Bay
Under the direction of the Curriculum Initiatives Project Coordinator with supervision from Associate Dean of Curriculum and Catalog Services, this position serves as a Catalog Editor and Curriculum Analyst responsible for the analysis, coordination, and implementation of curriculum and catalog changes. The incumbent applies specialized knowledge of university, CSU systemwide, and catalog policies governing catalog content, courses, and academic programs, including Academic Senate policy, and Chancellor's Office guidance. Duties include analysis of curricular requests submitted by the colleges and of changes, including identification and assessment of impact on content areas other than those being changed, and the coordination of the revision process of the catalog by communicating with the area administrators and directors and as needed, the Chancellor’s Office. This position conducts investigations and analyses of courses within the institutions; problem-solving and entry of coding into PeopleSoft and on the Cascade web server, as well as serving as a technical administrator of the Acalog and Curriculog catalog and curriculum management system. This position will provide specialized coordination and administrative support for the Lead Curriculum Services Analyst in Academic Programs and Services as well as the analysis, coordination, and assistance with a variety of complex curricular projects from planning through initiation and execution stages, requiring interpretation of policies and procedures as well as problem solving skills. In addition, the Curriculum Analyst provides technical guidance and training to faculty and staff regarding curriculum and catalog processes, assists with complex curricular initiatives and special projects, and supports the planning, implementation, and publication of the university catalog in accordance with institutional and systemwide policies.
