The EOP Advisor and Work Lead, under the general supervision of the Director of EOP, EXCEL, RSP, and Affinity Programs, provides leadership, coordination, and direct service delivery for Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) advising services. The position ensures the consistent, high-quality implementation of student-centered counseling practices that promote retention, academic achievement, and timely degree completion for low-income, first-generation, and historically underrepresented students. The EOP Advisor and Work Lead oversees and guides the work of EOP advisors by establishing advising standards, facilitating regular team meetings, coordinating case management, and providing ongoing professional guidance and support. The role serves as a primary point of contact for complex and high-impact student cases, assisting counselors in addressing academic, personal, and systemic barriers that affect student success. In addition to lead responsibilities, the EOP Advisor and Work Lead maintains an assigned advising caseload and implements targeted retention and intervention strategies for students, particularly those identified as academically at risk. The position monitors student progress and engagement, analyzes retention and persistence trends, and collaborates with campus partners to strengthen coordinated support systems. The EOP Advisor and Work Lead represents EOP within the Student Equity and Success (SEAS) unit and at campus-wide meetings, contributing to strategic planning, cross-program collaboration, and institutional equity initiatives. The Department of History at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for the Adina Lei Savin and W Benson Harer Visiting Scholar in Egyptology. A successful candidate will be a member of the CSUSB community for one semester, either Fall 2026 (mid Aug- mid Dec) or Spring 2027 (mid Jan – late May). This position is designed for scholars taking a semester sabbatical from a home institution or as a postdoc for an up-and-coming scholar. The applicant should specialize in Ancient Egyptian History, Archaeology, Religion, Society, or Art anytime between the Predynastic to the Roman Periods. The successful candidate will receive housing, a partial meal plan, $2,500 towards relocation expenses, and a $27,000 stipend. CSUSB hosts the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA), which includes an important collection of approximately 500 artifacts dating from the Predynastic Period to the Coptic Period. Physician - Primary Care (10/12 Pay Plan) East Bay
The Physician is an integral part of the Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS). The Physician participates in the daily operational and practical needs of SHCS, primarily performs medical diagnostic and treatment activities, and participates in practitioner peer review staff educational and administrative meetings as needed. The incumbent will also assist SHCS in its on-going preparation for re-accreditation and HIPAA compliance as well as provide health education and participate in teaching activities. The incumbent will have regular contact with blood, blood products and bodily fluids as well as communicable diseases. There may also be some contact with physical and chemical hazardous materials, such as liquid nitrogen, TCA, etc. Routine exposure to needles and sharp objects is to be expected. The incumbent must be able to respond to on-campus medical emergencies which may require walking outdoors several blocks carrying medical equipment or driving a minivan. This position may require occasional coverage at CSU East Bay’s Concord campus. The incumbent must be willing to comply with local and state laws governing CSU practices, be able to perform within the full spectrum of their specialty and comply with rules and regulations presented within their respective department(s).
