Cal Poly Humboldt and the Department of Biological Sciences invites applicants for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty position with an emphasis in Immunology and Hematology. Instructional assignments may include: Immunology, Hematology, and Principles of Biology. In year two of the appointment, the successful candidate may also be assigned one or two of the following courses depending on their area of expertise: BIOL 340 Genetics, BIOL 350 Cell Biology, BIOL 440 Genetics Laboratory, BIOL 450 Cell Biology Laboratory, BIOL 455 Cellular and Gene Therapy, ZOOL 312 Human Physiology, and/or ZOOL 270 Human Anatomy, depending on the expertise of this new faculty member. |

| The Philosophy Department in the College of Liberal Arts at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California, is seeking applications for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 17, 2026. Area of Specialization (AOS): Asian Philosophy. Area of Concentration (AOC): Philosophy of Religion, East Asian Philosophy. Special additional teaching needs: Buddhism, Philosophy of Religion, East Asian Philosophy. The successful candidate should have some understanding of the discpline of Religious Studies.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of university-level teaching experience, and research potential. We are seeking applicants with an earned or nearly complete doctorate in philosophy, with demonstrable qualifications in Asian Philosophy.
